Jakarta, bidiktangsel.com - Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Indonesian Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi held a Video Conference with all Police Chiefs and Police Chiefs to provide briefings related to the availability to distribution of cooking oil to meet the needs of the community.
In his briefing, Sigit instructed all police chiefs to ensure the availability of cooking oil for the public in both traditional and modern markets.
"The most important thing must be ensured that colleagues from today, tomorrow until next week cooking oil must be on the ground. Both in modern and traditional markets. Please be really supervised," Sigit said in Vicon held at The Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Monday (03/14/2022).
According to Sigit, based on data presented by the Minister of Trade, the stock of cooking oil needs for the country is safe.
In order to ensure the guarantee of the availability of cooking oil in the country, the former Kabareskrim Polri asked all police chiefs and police chiefs to prevent potential violations committed by the parties.
"Indications of violations related to whether the obligations have actually been channeled to the manufacturer or just the documents. Please be sure to be monitored. We make sure the cooking oil producers have been produced in accordance with what the community needs," sigit said.
Then, Sigit also reminded of the violation gap related to price disparities in sales in the international market. Then, sigit said, there are also indications of violations of crude palm oil flow or CPO that should be channeled for household needs, but it is shifted to the industrial market, because of the high price difference.
"How then the existing stock will be attempted to be held or take margin with the difference in price. This also helps colleagues later pay attention, "said Sigit.
